autoXP’s training department has dedicated on-site facilities, academyXP - also available to hire for meetings, events and as a training facility.

We know the importance of our Brand Ambassadors sometimes being the only touchpoint with many of our manufacturers’ customers, so the investment in our training proposition is testament to the value we place on our customer retention and partnerships. We have affiliation with our customers and align to their business strategy and brand - we are known for our quality of training, which spans company-wide. We produce bespoke training programmes for our Brand Ambassador Drivers on all new products, refreshers, and enhanced driving features - mixing classroom learning, with practical sessions and including modules on customer service and sales. We invest in over 40 hours training per week within our driving community alone and have a dedicated Team Leader programme, supported by Brand Ambassador Trainers, to ensure the quality of our service. Our dedicated training team work closely with our customers, to ensure we have the latest information on products, legislation and market matters.
Prior to joining autoXP, John has worked at management level within a race car manufacturing Company and has many years’ experience within the automotive sector.
John has developed within the Company from being a Brand Ambassador Driver, to assisting with training and new driver inductions on a part time basis, to then heading up and managing our dedicated Brand Ambassador L & D function. John’s role includes being responsible for product training on all types of vehicles, from full electric, to plug-in hybrid vehicles, new models, as well as high-performance vehicles and devising and delivering bespoke training programmes in all areas of the Brand Ambassador experience. These sessions are based in the classroom and via practical sessions, inclusive of ‘121’ on the road evaluations, which is further supported by our Team Leader programme, whereby our drivers are regularly assessed within the course of the execution of their role.
John is a qualified, auditor for ISO 9001:2015 and ISO19011:2011, holds the Institute of advanced motorists advanced driver qualification achieved with a `first pass’ distinction and is training to become a qualified Institute of advanced motorists national observer.
